I was hired as a Network Provisioner, processing disconnect orders in Metasolv TBS. Also provisioned DS1 installs. Processed ASR’s, ISR’s, and EWO’s.

Was promoted to Process Specialist (team analyst). In that capacity I routed all work orders to the provisioners, tracked their progress, assisted them with provisioning problems, created and maintained weekly and monthly reports, and identified areas for process improvements and implementated changes:

·      I  developed standardized TBS processes for the Sprint Nextel WIS iDEN Disconnect and Trunk Installation groups; created new work queues for each group, routing new orders directly to each group’s queue; created new provisioning plan workflows within TBS for each group, and updated existing provisioning plans for affected related groups, earning a Sprint Values Excellence award.

·      I successfully project managed a high visibility group of over 400 All Frame Relay disconnects, saving the company over $100K per month, earning a Sprint Values Excellence award.

I became the designated team SME for all provisioning issues, including participating on various special projects and teams.

·      I designed and provisioned ASR’s in FMS for new installs, disconnects, change orders, and live circuit rolls, for wireline and wireless access, voice and data orders, Switched/trunk and Special Access (up to OC192), as well as Network Realignment (NRD) and PSN2 rolls.

·      I placed orders, escalated, and negotiated with local phone companies for firm install and disconnect dates.   Tracked coordination of telco dates with access customers, access providers, and other internal and external suppliers.  Coordinated testing and acceptance of the circuits.

·      I designed backbones and determined least cost routing.

·      I was the first Sprint provisioner to successfully provision the roll of an OC192 that was carrying live traffic through the roll module in FMS.

·      Sprint Values Excellence certificate and cash award, January 2008, for successfully project managing a high visibility group of over 400 All Frame Relay disconnects, working with provisioners to receive over 99% of the requested end bill dates in the month of January, saving the company over $100K per month.

·      Sprint Values Excellence certificate and cash award, September 2007, for creating new system work queues, changing all affected provisioning plans in Metasolv and rerouting all new iDEN disconnect orders directly to the disconnect team, as well as making the same changes for the iDEN trunk install team.

·      Sprint Values Excellence certificate and cash award, September 2002, for Project Laser End to End Network Integration team, where I gathered and analyzed large amounts of data, created flow charts, performed advanced root cause analysis, and suggested process and system improvements.

·      Sprint Values Excellence cash award and personal letter of thanks from Don Hallacy, former President of Sprint Technology Services, October 2001, for participating on a special provisioning team that worked around the clock to ensure that critical telecommunications services remained available to the 9/11 rescue effort and our customers.

·      Sprint Values Excellence certificate and cash award, January 2000, for leading a team to create all new provisioning training materials and M&P’s, consisting of written documentation and manuals, a web site and narrated Power Point training presentation.
